It was a beautiful fall day as the Kmiec family enjoyed fun, food, music and fellowship at the 9th annual reunion of the descendants of Peter Kmiec which was held at the Chappell Hill Volunteer Fire Department in Chappell Hill, Texas on the afternoon of October 1, 2011.
A delicious fried chicken dinner with lots of side dishes was served along with ice tea, lemonade and homemade desserts. The fun started after dinner with pumpkin decorating and musical chairs for the kids, spinning wheel for lots of plants and other prizes, a crazy t-shirt contest and a silent auction. Door prize and raffle drawings were held for the adults and children along with prizes for the oldest, youngest and longest married family members.
Polish musician Daniel Cendalski and his Country Boys band kept the crowd entertained throughout the evening with a mix of old Polish tunes and popular dance music.
