On Saturday, November 6, 2010, members and guests of the Polish Genealogical Society of Texas met at the Tracy Gee Community Center in Houston for their annual social. Everyone enjoyed fellowship with friends and story telling before eating a delicious meal consisting of ham, barbecue beef and lots of homemade dishes including deserts.
After the meal, guest speaker Atty. Susan Bulgawicz began a very interesting presentation on elder law by asking “what important documents do I need to have in place now?”. She discussed statutory and medical powers of attorney, directives to physicians, wills and other types of documents along with probate verses non-probate assets. The meeting ended with PGST President Dolores Newman handing out lots of nice door prizes.
